We teach lessons to all levels of equestrian interests for the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines: Beginner through advanced, Children (Ages 4+) through Adults, Males & Females.

• Private Lessons - 30-45 minutes
• Group Lessons (up to four riders) - 45 minutes to one hour long. Determined by trainer and grouped by ability/experience. Beneficial for learning and watching of others.
• Lessons are offered 7 days a week at various times. Please call or e-mail to set up your lesson schedule!  *Beginner Lessons are now available on weekends!

Our lesson programs are individually designed per each riders expectations, goals and dreams. Whether riding for pleasure or training for competition, you will be provided with safe, fun, confidence-building instruction.  

Our selection of lesson horses and ponies are well trained, very safe teachers. We love them dearly and couldn't ask for a better set of school horses!

To get started, please download the rider release form and the medical release form. Both forms need to be notorized and submitted, prior to the start of your first lesson.

 We provide professional training for younger and problem horses, specifically horses that:

• Need guidance with flat work, lead changes and/or jumping
• Need experience in the show ring
• Need schooling before lessons and/or showing
• Have attitude or specific training problems

• Monthly Training Board at VMF
• Meeting at Horse Shows for Schooling/Showing

We show locally and nationally, year-round, which offers ample opportunity for any of our riders who have competition interests, goals and dreams.

We try to attend shows that offer divisions for everyone - from leadline to the the 3'6" divisions. Some shows are local, single day shows, whereas others are further away and last for multiple days.

Year after year, our riders continue to win awards with:  Zone 2, PHSA, EPPHA, CPJHSA, Marshall & Sterling League, NAL, Ariat NAM, THIS Medal & CCHSA.

*Show Day Pony/Horse Lease: VMF riders are offered an opportunity to ''lease' one of our lesson horses/ponies for a day at a horse show. This option is for any rider who wants to show but...

• You do not own or lease your own equine.
• You do own or lease your own equine, but they are unavailable to show (injured, etc.)

Commission Fee's:

• Lease: 10% of total lease price (in addition to lease price - minimum of $500)
