Summer HORSE Camp

Join us for a few weeks of horse-crazy fun with safe, hands-on learning at the summer horse camps at Valley Mist Farm. Campers will ride daily, learn about horse care, play games and so much more!

 

2025 Summer Camp Weeks:

Regular Camp Sessions:

July 7-11

August 4-8

Mini Camp Sessions:

June 25, 26, 27


 Regular Camp:

Open to children ages 5 to 15, of all riding levels. No experience necessary!

Begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. daily.

*After care available M-Th for additional fee*

$490.00 per week

Sign up for BOTH regular camp sessions and receive $25 off your second camp week!

Mini Camp:

Open to children 3 to 5 years old.

Specially designed for young horse lovers to experience a safe & fun introduction to ponies!

Begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon, 3 days per week.

*No extended care available*

$315.00 per week

Camp Activities:

  • English Hunt Seat Instruction
  • Daily Riding Lessons
  • Safety around horses, Barn Safety
  • Parts of the Horse, Injuries, etc.
  • Breeds, Colors, Markings
  • Grooming, Bathing
  • Tack Parts/Tack Care, Tacking Up/Down
  • Different types of Feed, Hay, Supplements and Medicines
  • Barn Management and Barn Care
  • Daily Games & Prizes/Arts & Crafts
  • Demonstrations: vet, farrier, advanced riding demo, etc
  • "Horse Show" on the last Friday of each camp week - family, friends and cameras welcome!

How to Register?

It's SO EASY!

Simply download, fill-out and mail us the 2025 Camp Registration Form along with your $100 non-refundable deposit. This gets your child secured into the camp week(s) of their choice. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once we have received it along with more details on everything you will need by the start of camp!

What to bring:

  1. Notarized release forms
  2. ASTM-FEI certified riding helmet with name written inside**
  3. Riding boot or shoe with a rubber sole and small heel
  4. Riding pants, jeans or any tight pant
  5. Lunch - Refrigerator available
  6. Change of clothes for afternoon activities (water activities; no swimming) - bathing suit, towel, shorts, sandals, face mask(s)
  7. Extra suggestions: Camera, sun block, bug spray, hair ties, etc.
